This is a card I designed to make with the Heartland Stampers group at Urbandale Library last month. It is also called the concertina fold or cascading card if you want to search for more ideas.
Directions for base of card: start with 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock. Score (with 8 1/2" side to the top) at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", 6 3/8". Then mark one side (on the 7 1/2" side) at 5" and the other side at 2 1/2". Line up your marks in the paper cutter and cut so you have two diagonally cut pieces. On the 2 1/8" and 6 3/8" score lines cut up halfway on one piece and down halfway on the other piece. These will fit together to form your base card. Decorate as desired.

This is a really fun card that uses lots of different punches and framelits.
