Faux mother of pearl cards

My roommate Roberta made these cards using the frost white shimmer paint ( 116854 $5.95) for the faux mother of pearl technique. She used the paint on an entire sheet of cardstock then cut into squares and she stamped each square individually. Beautiful job Roberta!! Click on each card to enlarge to see the details.
This card uses Just Believe stamp set (116948 wood $33.95, 120453 clear $25.95) and marina mist cardstock and ink.
This card uses Vintage Vogue stamp set (117690 wood $23.95, 118598 clear $17.95) and pear pizazz cardstock and ink.

Fabulous Florets Samples

These are samples of cards made with the Fabulous Florets stamp set (123025 wood $23.95 or 123027 clear $17.95) that I received as swaps at convention. Many of them also use the Beyond the Garden designer paper (122342 $10.95)as well and some use the new colored embossing powder. I just love the bright colors.

 So classy with the black
Thia is the double embossing technique
Uses the tangerine tango, (123106 $4.75) wild wasabi, (123224 $4.75) and melon mambo, (123223 $4.75) embossing powders
I made these last 2 cards. I like this one, but thought it was too busy, so I reworked it into the card below
I hid the Flower Garden embossing folder (123113 $7.95) image inside, see below

Evolution of convention swap card

I'm sorry these are out of order, but read the info under each card to see the progression. I'm not sure if you can tell from the photos, but I used the red glimmer paper behind the berries. Click on each card to enlarge it for details.

This was my second attempt. I changed from one berry (punched berry) to three, but I hadn't yet added the red 2 1/2" circle behind the sentiment and it still needed something.

 This is my final project!
This was my first card. I only punched one berry in each point of the medallion, but I decided it needed three. I also hadn't added the red circle behind the sentiment, but I fixed this one before I took the photo.
