Designer Paper Special Offer

During the month of August buy 3 packages of Designer Series Paper and get 1 FREE!! This is for the $10.95 packages only, the specialty papers and paper stacks are not included. There are 15 different paper choices, so find 4 that you like and give me a call or email before this offer is gone. I have some ideas on how to use your dsp below. Some of the samples use paper not included on this special, but still give you some ideas. Click on any card to enlarge to see details.
A convention swap made with Flirtatious Specialty Paper and Bigshot Circle die. She used the cherries from the cupcake punch for the clasp.

Convention swap Quilt card using Paisley Petals Paper. She used a square of grid paper to line up the quilt, then she ran it through an embossing folder.
A slider card using Paisley Petals Paper. Also a convention swap.
A card I made using the blossom punch and some retired DSP. I have made lots of these cards with a variety of dsp's and the punch.
This is the birthday card from my sister. She used the Pastels Paper Stack. The flame of the candle is punched with the blossom punch!!
Convention swap using Paisley Petals and bigshot scallop circles dies
Another convention swap-stamping directly on First Edition Specialty Paper
Convention swap-shirt using Neutrals Paper Stack
This was our club card this month using Well Worn and the owl
Rosette that I made using the Simply Scored and In Color paper pack from last catalog hostess benefits
Roommate gift from convention. It was the hatbox for the cute hats. She made them all different, the paper is retired now, but she used the red glimmer paper too.
Still another convention swap using First Edition Specialty paper and stamping directly on it.

Faux mother of pearl

This was my first card, butI didn't like the main panel because the cherry smeared. I do like the lace ribbon border punch with cherry cobbler seam binding woven through it. And I used the new stripes embossing folder for the daffodil layer.

Inside of card. All the punches were punched from other layers of the card or from the bottom of the card that we trimmed first.
This was our technique card for stamp club this month. You can't really appreciate the effect of this card from this picture. Try clicking on the pic to enlarge it for more detail. Use frost white shimmer paint- just one drop is enough-on glossy cardstock. Dab it on with crumpled plastic wrap, then when dry-fast drying-brayer or sponge with ink, then stamp image. Rub excess ink off the shimmer paint with a paper towel or rag. Colors for both cards were chosen using the color coach. If you don't have it, add it to your wish list.

I'm hoping life will slow down a bit now. Since I have been here last, I worked extra hours at a Dr's office as well as at the hospital then we went to Pennsylvania to a family reunion and to visit my parents. We took our 4 granddaughters with us. They had fun with Grandpa and Great Grandpa fishing, playing with the ponies in the pasture out back, and Taylor helped a lot in the garden and clearing behind the garage. When we got home, I took my annual picture of the grandkids in the yard in the same pose.
