Shimmer Paint and Faux Linen

Click on photo to enlarge image! This is a card we did for stamp club last week. It uses the white frost shimmer paint from the holiday mini catalog. The technique is faux linen. Use a sanding block on glossy cardstock and sand both horizontally and vertically until you reach the desired effect. Then use a sponge and ink on the card stock. I wish I had used a bit more ink to really show the grain made on the paper. I added shimmer paint directly to the flowers before I stamped them, but you can also use a q-tip to add a very small amount after stamping. Colors used aare not quite navy and creamy caramel.
